2 Days Safari UWEC-Jinja town
Day 1: UWEC Entebbe Tour
You will have breakfast to be transferred to the Uganda Wild life education centre formerly known as the zoo. This area is managed by the Uganda wildlife Authority. It is a conservation area containing both flora and fauna. You will spend the whole day there to be given an introduction to the wildlife of Uganda and some of the threatened species around. Expect animals like the Lions, snakes, monkeys, chimpanzees, Rhinos, baboons, buffaloes and plenty of birds. You will have a lunch picnic at the park. In the evening you will drive back to Kampala / Entebbe. Overnight at Hotel Africana / Sheraton Hotel.
Day 2: Jinja Town Tour - Rafting, Bujagali Falls, River Nile
Have breakfast to drive to the east-Jinja district. The journey will take you about one and half hours to pass through the tea and sugarcane plantations and forest vegetations. You will reach the Jinja and then turn right on the first junction to drive to the source of the river Nile that pours into the great Mediterranean Sea. You will spend some time there and then have a lunch picnic at the source of the Nile, or you may be transferred to the town to one of the hotels for lunch. After lunch you will then drive off to the left of the junction to Bujagali falls where the Government is planning to build a hydro power dam. For those interested in rafting you may raft the whole afternoon. After drive back to Kampala to reach in the evening. Overnight at Sheraton Hotel / Serena Hotel.
