3 days Rwanda wildlife tour package for those interested in a short safari to this East African country
Day 1: Akagera National Park
On arrival at Kanombe (Kigali) airport, our representative will pick you up and introduce you to your driver/guide who will thereafter be in charge of your well-being.You will then drive to the east of Rwanda to Akagera National Park bordering Tanzania. This area holds an interesting selection of species associated with a diversity of habitats: wetlands, woodlands, grasslands, riparian forest and bush country. You will have an afternoon game drive in the park to see a variety of birds and animals such as elephant, giraffe, buffalo, spotted hyena, hippo, and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Lodge.
Day 2: Wildlife safari in Akagera National Park
After breakfast, you will either go for a morning game drive in the park again or a canoe ride on Lake Ihema to see the large number of hippo, the huge Nile crocodile and birds. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Lodge.
Day 3: Akagera - Kigali
In the morning, have breakfast and enjoy a morning game drive, have lunch and return to Kigali.
