Day 1: Airport transfer
On arrival at the Airport; you will meet the company safari guide, and then proceed north to the foothills of the volcanoes that make up Volcanoes National Park. Home to Rwanda's rare mountain gorilla, this park is a must visit and the reason most people come to Rwanda in the first place. It features magnificent views, lush forests and several rather luxurious lodges. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking
Early breakfast, proceed to the park head quarters where visitors assemble at 07.00 for briefing on how to” behave” while in the company of mountain gorillas. You will meet your guide here and proceed to the starting point of the trek to your allocated gorilla group. The length of the trek varies depending on where the gorillas are as well as what the weather conditions are. In the afternoon, you will have a tour of Ruhengeri and visit Lake Burela and Ruhondo. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Kigali City tour
After breakfast, drive to Kigali and have a city tour. In the afternoon transfer to the air port to catch your flight back home.
