Chimpanzees in Ngamba Island. 2 Days.
Day 1: Transfer To Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary
Have breakfast, drive to Entebbe from where you are jetty transfered to Ngamba Island. The Island is a chimpanzee sanctuary managed by the Jane Goodall Institute. They usually get the chimps from the wild and look after them, most especially those that are infants and can not take care of themselves. You will reach in time for feeding the Chimpanzee and you will watch them feed. Spend about 1 hour with the chimps and later in the afternoon take a rest at the pool side or the lake shores. Overnight at the island.
Day 2: Nature Walk, Primates Tracking, Boat Ride, Birding
In the morning have breakfast to go for a nature walk in search for game and fauna. The island is blessed with variety of primates, such as monkeys, bush bucks, Bushbabies and many more. Retire from the walk for a boat ride on the along the shores of the island to check out some of the animals along the shores and birds. Have another nature walk on the island before you transfer back to Kampala/ Entebbe. Overnight at Hotel Africana / Sheraton Hotel.
